In 1984, I took my husband to the Los Angeles Zoo to see the Giant Pandas. The exhibit had been well received and the lines were reported to be very long. Up to a two hour wait! We went on a Tuesday armed with two rolls of film and the hope we could stay long enough to use it all on the pandas. What luck! We had the pandas all to ourselves and spent a couple of hours watching them and taking pictures.

The PANDA STUDY came out of those photographs. Caught in the act of being themselves, the Giant Pandas are seen dining on bamboo, curling up for a nap, and looking for the next meal. Pretty much a full day for a panda!
